Workshop Description

ACE/RHESSI/Wind Workshop on Energetic Events at the Sun and in the Heliosphere - The science teams from the ACE, RHESSI, and Wind missions are sponsoring a workshop on the acceleration and transport of solar energetic electrons and ions to be held October 7-9, 2003, in Taos, New Mexico. The workshop format will include invited overview talks, but will center primarily around five working groups that will focus on specific scientific questions that can be addressed by combining RHESSI and other remote sensing data with interplanetary observations from ACE, Wind and other spacecraft. The workshop will meet October 7-9, 2003, followed by a RHESSI team meeting on October 10 and 11. There will also be an ACE science working team meeting on Monday October 6.

We invite broad participation by the solar and heliospheric communities, including both observational and theoretical contributions.

The meeting will be held at the Sagebrush Inn in Taos. All breakfasts, lunches, the banquet and all workshop facilities are right there. For hotel reservations and workshop contributions, use the registrations page.
