Outreach
Here you will find some of the outreach projects that our group has worked on in the past. These include the Web Space for Kids and Non-Scientists, a website specifically designed to explain what we do in an understandable way, and the Spaceweather Kiosk, which shows the latest conditions of the sun, solar wind, and Earth weather.

The newest exhibit at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum was
done by one of our students, Dustin Doud, in collaboration with staff at the
museum. The exhibit shows weather from space and from earth and explains the
parallels by showing real-time "solar weather" images. This project grew out of an Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program project, and it now serves as a teaching tool for kids visiting the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. Dustin is currently working on a more interactive exhibit. The exhibit was sponsored by the Solar and Heliospheric Research Group.
